Character Resistances
Your character in World of Warcraft has got two chances to resist damage made by a spell. The first chance is only based on the level you have and your attacker has. If your level is much higher as the level of your attacker you will have a significant chance to resist the spell. If your level is much lower as the level of your opponent your will have a minimum chance to resist the spell. If you get this resistant your character is completely uneffected by the spell.
The second chance your character has to resist a spell is based on his resistant skills. As higher as your resistant skill is in relation to the attackers level you will get a different chance to resist the spell. The resistance is very important in World of Warcraft.
