The reputation in World of Warcraft is very important. The reputation will take effect on how monsters and NPC´s will interact with you. Your character can reach several reputation levels for each fraction. The reputation levels are:

Hated: Kill on sight. The opposing teams are permanently on this level.

Hostile: Kill on sight.

Unfriendly: You cannot interact with these NPC´s. You cant even buy or sell equipment from the sellers.

Neutral: Standard reputation level for the fractions your character has not visited at all.

Friendly: Standard reputation level for the players team.

Honored: On this reputation level you will get 10% discount on items you bought from the sellers.

Revered: Special reputation level reserved for special heroes.

Exalted: Highest possible reputation level you can get. You will have special items to buy at the fractions seller.
